Soshihan Mehul Vora has been training in several forms of Japanese and Okinawa Gojuryu Karate Do since 1981. Currently he holds the rank of 8th Dan Hanshi in Koushikai Gojuryu Karate do
Soshihan has been fortunate enough to train under legends such has:
- Hanshi Toyama Zenshu 10th dan
- Soke Takumi Nishi 10th dan
- Hanshi Toshimasa Nishi 9th dan
- Shihan Kanaya Jinju 9th dan &
- Hanshi Percy Bahmani 8th dan to name a few.
Hanshi Percy Bahmani, India's senior most karateka is the acting President of Nihonden India. Soshihan Mehul Vora is SEC GEN Asia of the prestigious Nihonden Gojuryu Karate Do Koushikai Japan.
