Mehul Vora: The Martial Artist Who Turned Discipline into a Movement

Mehul Vora — a martial artist, educationist, poet, and the founder of Kudo India — has shown how discipline can truly change lives. He began learning martial arts at the age of just three. In 2024, he made India proud by becoming the first Gujarati to earn a 9th-degree red belt from Japan.

His brave actions during the 26/11 Mumbai attacks earned him praise from international leaders, including Al Gore. Mehul Vora also worked with actor Akshay Kumar to start the Women’s Self-Defense Center, which has trained more than 7 lakh (700,000) women across India.

Apart from martial arts, he introduced India’s first BBA in International Martial Arts and partnered with VFS Global to connect education with job opportunities. With his mix of discipline, compassion, and vision, Mehul Vora continues to inspire thousands, turning martial arts into a national movement for empowerment, education, and opportunity.
